Design and Analysis of Guidance Function of Permanent Magnet Electrodynamic Suspension

Inspired by the guidance principle in electromagnetic levitation system, a new permanent magnet electrodynamic suspension (PM EDS) structure with ferromagnetic track is proposed and analyzed this paper. Considering lack of effective ability for PM EDS we adopted as being mounted under conductor plate. The studied implementation function also introduced, finite element method (FEM) employed its accuracy confirmed via high-speed rotating experimental platform fabricated our laboratory. influence longitudinal speed on force taken into account, which shows that performance enhanced more obviously at low speeds. Moreover, parameters analyzed, including geometric parameters, section shape, installation position material. equivalent small-scale system prototype carried out to validate effectiveness guidance. demonstrated improve effectively, will offer technical reference practical engineering application system.
